Owner & Property Manager in Charge - Sarah Botkin

Hi, I’m Sarah, the proud owner of Dreams N Druthers! My husband and I, along with our four dogs, call Summerville home, just outside Charleston and a short drive from Isle of Palms.

I’ve always been passionate about creating meaningful experiences and finding ways to make things work better for the people involved. From managing call centers in my early 20s to spending more than a decade with Wyndham Vacation Resorts, I built my career around hospitality, operations, analytics, and people.

After moving to the Charleston area, I transitioned into HOA management and had the opportunity to work with Beth Crunelle of Waterview Property Management as she prepared for retirement. That experience allowed me to learn the property management business from the ground up and confirmed that this was where I wanted to focus my career. I’m grateful for the knowledge, experience, and foundation that came from that transition.

Dreams N Druthers grew from that experience, combining my background in hospitality, operations, and customer service with a more hands-on, relationship-driven approach to property management. The name reflects what I believe a great stay should provide all the druthers of home, even when you’re away from home; the comforts, conveniences, thoughtful touches, and little things that make a place feel easy, welcoming, and yours for a while.

For me, property management isn’t simply about managing reservations or maintaining a home. It’s about relationships, trust, attention to detail, and creating a place where guests can settle in and feel at home while owners can feel confident their property is being cared for just as thoughtfully.

That’s what Dreams N Druthers is all about.

Guest Experience Contractor- Charlotte Shaw

As part of the guest experience team here at Dreams N Druthers, I work behind the scenes. My goal is always to make communication easy, welcoming, and stress-free so you can feel confident, comfortable, and focused on enjoying your trip. Whether you’re planning ahead or figuring things out as you go, I’ll meet you where you are. I genuinely enjoy making sure you feel taken care of from the moment you reach out. As a single-mom I wholeheartedly understand the value of time away; the shift, the reset, the moments.I love being a small part of creating that experience for you.
When I’m not helping coordinate stays, you’ll usually find me spending time with family or dreaming up my next road-trip adventure (ideally one with good snacks, scenic routes, a few laughs, and a playlist that makes me sing way too enthusiastically). I have 2 children, we are usually chasing a little sunshine (not hard to do in sweet South Carolina).
